November 11, 2019: Am/Can Ch Laureate K Syrah Syrah win Best in Specialty Show under judge Amy Zoss!
Congratulations to owner Mr Kenji Shigi!

November 9/19: 2 point BOB wins for both Laureate Heavenly in QC and Laureate Petite Syrah in BC! This was the first shows for both girls.


November 3/19: A whirlwind weekend for "Sonia"...who is now Am/BPIS Can Ch Laureate Overture! She won 3x 5 point majors in her first weekend in the US, so she finished both championships in a total of seven shows! Thank you handler extraordinaire, Kim Wendling!

This brings our total Championship titles for the year to twenty! A personal best for us...

October 29, 2019: New Canadian Champion Laureate Overture! "Sonia" is the second in her litter to finish, and our 13th Canadian Champion this year! She also won Best Puppy in Show. Thank you Kim Wendling for the outstanding presentation.

October 15,2019: Two new Canadian Champions! It's now Can Ch Laureate Magnified and Can Ch Laureate Reimagine. Thank you handler Sydney Robinson. They can be seen as babies on our hopefuls page.

Sept: 15, 2019: New Champion Laureate Brightside! "Sunny" is our tenth Canadian Champion for the year.

Sept 10, 2019: New Canadian Champion MBPIS Ch Laureate Diamond Is Forever

New Canadian Champion BPIS Ch Laureate Doctor Who. Both finished with group placements and Best Puppy in Show wins. Congrats to owner Kenji Shigi. Thank you Sydney Robinson for handling our puppies.

July 22, 2019: New Canadian Champion It's now BPIS Ch Laureate Ingenue! "Ashley" finished in two weekend with several group placements including Group 1 and a Best Puppy in Show! Thank you Sydney Robinson for your wonderful presentation. She is sired by  MBIS/MBISS/MNBIS Am/Can GCh Laureate Invincible ROM x the very beautiful Am/Can Ch Lynphil Girl On Fire and was co-bred by Lynphil Shelties.

New Canadian Champion! It's now Ch Laureate Million Reasons. "Cheers" is sired by MBIS/MBISS/MNBIS Am/Can GCh Laureate Invincible ROM/ROMC x BPIS Ch Laureate Sun Salutation. She is owned by Petra Skapa (Tresta Shelties) and was shown to her Championship by Heidi Gervais. She is pictured here at 5 months of age.

New Canadian Champion! It's now Ch Velvetfog Laureate Solo Act. Solo finished her title in two weekends with a Group 1st. She is sired by MBIS/MBISS/MBPIS Am/Can GCh Laureate Who Knew x Ch Levallon Lana First Edition (an Inception daughter). Thank you co-breeder/co-owner Anne Brazeau and handler Sydney Robinson.

New American Champion! It's now Am Ch Laureate Bonfire, "Bonnie" also won her 9-12 month sable and white class at the ASSA National (pictured). She was co-bred by Bonnie Bird-Pappel and is co-owned by D'Anne Sherbrooke.

New American Champion Laureate You Know Who! Thank you co-owner Kathy McFall for piloting Sugar to her fast finish! She is the 8th American Champion for her sire, MBIS/MBISS Am/Can GCh Laureate Who Knew.

New American Champion! Am/BPIS Can Ch Laureate Nocturnal, "Nightie" finished in only two weekends.

Thank you Kim Wendling for handling Nightie to six points at all-breed shows and then her following weekend out she took 3 consecutive majors to finish. Thank you judges Tom Coen, John Buddie and Jo Ann Pavey.

June 4, 2019: New American Champion Laureate Dominus! Thank you owner Jennie Hynes, Kate and Katie for such a fast finish! This young dog makes his dam, MBPIS Am/Can Ch Laureate Red Red Wine a ROM!

New Champion Laureate Fan Favourite! "Fannie" finished in two weekends with several group placements and a BPIS! Her finishing gives her dam, MBPIS Am/Can Ch Laureate Red Red Wine her ROMC title!

"Phelp's" wins his second Specialty at just 9 1/2 months old! Thank you Judy Kelsey for the honour.


Celebrating our 60th American Champion! Phelps finished with four Specialty majors, including WD/BW at the 2019 ASSA National! The following day he won Best in Specialty Show under judge Carl Skinner!


First Canadian show of the year and we have two new Canadian Champion littermates. Meiomi and Insignia finished with 3 Group 1sts, 2 BPIS and a Reserve BIS! They are the 3rd and 4th Champions for their dam, Am/Can Ch Laureate Red Red WIne. They're sired by Invincible, and I've lost track of how many Champions he has sired!

"Phelps" wins Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the American Shetland Sheepdog Association National
Specialty!  He won from the junior puppy class with an overall entry of 345 class Shelties!

This was his third ring appearance and he has two five point majors and a 4 point reserve to his litter brother.

Phelps and JP...JP (MBIS/MBISS Am/Can GCH Laureate Who Knew) wins his 3rd Award of Merit at ASSA! Thank you judge Meredith Hector for the honour.

Laureate Dominus, Marcus wins the Bred-by class and goes home with Jennie Hynes (Rosmoor Shelties)

Can Ch Laureate Who Dunnit (Carter) wins RWD! He was handled to this win by Tracy Robinson for owner Brenda Christenson. He was co-bred by Michelle Rogowski.  He is by MBIS/MBISS Am/Can Ch Laureate Who Knew AOM x Ch Laureate Will You Remember


March 18, 2019: Laureate Insignia wins a 5 point major at his very first show! Thank you judge David Calderwood for this honour!

His littermate, Laureate Dominus wins a 4 point major at the next show with Insignia going reserve! Thank you judge Mrs. Bernadette Biasi. At both shows, MBIS/MBISS Am/Can GCh Laureate Who Knew wins Best of Breed! Thank you SSC of Greater Baltimore for hosting such great shows.

February 1, 2019: MBPIS/MBIS/MBISS Am/Can GCh Laureate Who Knew AOM, finishes up the Florida circuit with 12 Bests of Breed and 3 Group 1st!
