December 24, 2010: Christmas came early to our house.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

November 13, 2010: Congratulations to Jo Ann and Terry Pavey (Whitegates Shelties)for on winning Best of Breed at the Central New York Specialty with BIS/BISS Am/Can Ch Laureate Fifth Avenue!  This is "Tiffany's" 12th Specialty Best.  "Tiffany" repeats the win the following day under under judge Sandy MacIntosh-Feret for lucky number 13!

Reserve Winners at the Specialty was Ch Laureate Lutèce (pictured above).  Thank you Diane Biggar for making Paris look her best!

August 22, 2010: New Canadian Champion!  "Miki" does it again!  WD/BW/BOS/BPIB and Best Puppy in Group to finish!  Thank you judge Charlotte McGowan and handler Diane Biggar for your outstanding presentation.  So he is now known as BPIS Can Ch Tresta Laureate Baryshnikov!  Bred by Petra Skapa and Yvonne Samuelson, co-owned with Petra.

August 21, 2010: "Miki" does one better than yesterday winning WD/BW/BOS/BPIB/BPIG and on to Best Puppy in Show!  Thanks to handler extraordinaire Diane Biggar it is now BPIS Tresta Laureate Baryshnikov!  Thank you to judges June and Gerard Penta.

August 20, 2010: Tresta Laureate Baryshnikov makes his debut at the TIKO show and wins WD/BW/BOS/BPIB and on to Best Puppy in Group for his first four points!  Thank you judge Jacqueline Rusby and handler Diane Biggar for your outstanding presentation!

BISS Am/Can Ch Laureate Louisiana, pictured en route to her final Best in Specialty Show under noted breeder judge Mr Tom Coen.  At 14 years this is a fitting way to end her show career!  She was only shown selectively and won 13 Specialty Bests, including the Canadian National, two Awards of Merit and Best of Opposite Sex at ASSA.  It has been quite a ride...thank you LuAnne!

June 23, 2010:  We are pleased to announce new Champion BPIS Ch Laureate Epitome!  "Miley" picked up 8 points over the weekend including WB at the CSSA Regional Specialty under breeder-judge Nancy Tibben.  Special thanks to her handler Diane Biggar for her expert care and presentation.

Best of Breed at the CSSA Regional Specialty was BIS/BISS Am/Can Ch Laureate Fifth Avenue!  This is "Tiffany's" 11th Specialty Best.  Congratulations to Jo Ann and Terry Pavey (Whitegates Shelties).

Two more points and a 3 point major reserve for Can Ch Laureate Jivara bringing her to 12 points both majors in the US.  Thank you Jessica Starbuck for stepping in to handle her when I was unable.

June 5, 6, 2010: Our sweet "Cocoa" (Can Ch Laureate Jivara) wins back to back Best of Breed over a lovely Special and back to back Group 2nd at the St Lawrence Valley KC dog shows in Clayton N.Y.  Thank you judges Polly Smith, Betty McHugh and Lester Mapes. 
She now has ten points, both majors, and three group placements in the U.S.

May 25, 2010: Congratulations to Jo Ann and Terry Pavey (Whitegates Shelties) for winning Best of Breed at the CC&SSA Regional Specialty from the Veterans class with BIS/BISS Am/Can Ch Laureate Fifth Avenue.  This was Tiffany's tenth Specialty breed win!

May 4, 2010: Ch Laureate Jivara wins Award of Merit at the CSSA National Specialty! 

It is now Canadian Champion Laureate Continuum! "Mayer" finished with Best of Breed, Group 3rd and Best Puppy in Group under judge Alan Brown at the Petawawa KC Show.

April 4, 2010: Can Ch Laureate Jivara goes to the shows in Syracuse NY and on Thursday she was RWB to a 4 point major.   Friday she won WB/BW/BOB over Specials for four points and today she won WB/BW/BOB over specials and on to Group FIRST!  Thank you to judges Charlie and Letitia Bett and to the fellow breeders for their support!

March 6, 2010: For our first show of the year we drove down North of Toronto to the DC&SSA Specialty.  There was also a Sheltie booster in the morning and Laureate Continuum took WD at both the Specialty and the booster bringing him to 9 points.  We brought along our beautiful 13 year 9 month old Veteran girl, BISS Am/Can Ch Laureate Louisiana, "LuAnne" and she won a beautiful Veteran Bitch class and went on to win Best of Breed!  This is the fourth time she has won this specialty; having won it in 2002, 2004, 2005 and now 2010.  Thank you judge Susan Christie for this honour, thanks to Brenda Campbell for lending a helping hand and a very special thank you to Kim Wendling for doing her hair.

February 19, 2010: Congratulations to Jo Ann and Terry Pavey (Whitegates Shelties) for winning Best of Breed at the CC&SSA Specialty from the Veterans class with BIS/BISS Am/Can Ch Laureate Fifth Avenue.  This was Tiffany's ninth Specialty breed win!
